| My own grief journey has been a metamorphosis. I’ve always loved butterflies and a butterfly grief book has been in the back of my mind. When I was in Washington, D.C., at an awards ceremony for I Know You’re Here, I walked by a little park. There, I saw steel sculptures of houses in amongst the flowers. My immediate thought was, “flutter, flutter, what’s through that door?” At that moment, Flutter, Bye was born. |
